THE ART OF HEALING EXHIBITION 2015

We would like to thank all of the artists who have contributed to the Art of Healing Exhibition 2015 and all of the people who have helped with the development of this event. The project has relied upon free-cycled materials, donated goods and the generous hard-work of friends and colleagues (the process can be seen here); there have been a huge number of people involved, far too many to list here, and we would like to thank them all for making it possible.

 

We had over 30 artworks displayed by artists from a variety of disciplines, backgrounds and geographical locations. The event raised over £1220 for the charity "Lifebox". Following the success of this pilot project, we are planning on returning next year for another exhibition and would love to hear from you if you want to be involved.

 

"The Art of Healing" was a unique exhibition of original artworks by healthcare professionals. It was the first event of its kind and brought together the creative talents of doctors, nurses and other health professionals. The exhibition had its opening event at St Thomas' Hospital's Central Hall on the 17th July followed by a week-long exhibition at the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland.
